Hemi Dude
Is there a way to keep the fuel pump running with the engine not running?I am trying to drain the old gas from the SOHC.Bob With the DRB scan tool or the Snap-On 2500 or newer tester. You could also 'hot-wire' the fuel pump circuit at the ASD relay.<script type="text/javascript" src="safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/51f6e16b/background/helpers/prefilterHelper.js"></script><script type="text/javascript" src="safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/51f6e16b/background/helpers/prefilterHelper.js"></script>
Guest BobFitz
I have an OTC Monitor 2000 scan tool. Not sure if it has the capability. If not it's jumper the relay socket time. Thanks Hemi.Bob
Digger914
If you can't run the pump through the car electrical system you can always direct connect 12v to the pump plug, or you can go with the old school method, siphon the tank dry and blow out the fuel line with compressed air, am assuming that you will be replacing the fuel filter with the fuel purge and it's a great access point.
