jeff
On my '38 Special, I have Trico "Deadlocker" wiper blades (and arms). They appear to be pretty hard to find, unlike the simple hook style blades that I see in the catalogs. Just wondering what options I might have. Convert to another style arm? Some kind of adapter? Has anyone been down this path before?Jeff

jeff
Wiperman's best advice was to try e-Bay: "sometimes they show up there".Bob's carries the hook type. Not sure about changing the arm itself, to allow me to more easily find replacement blades. That's the advice I need. I may circle back to Wiperman (Ficken) and pose the question in that manner. Thanks,Jeff
ol swede
Couldn't easily find the wipers for my Airstream-- Look closely at the rubber in your blades. I just dug around in some current day refills found the right blade and made new inserts from one refill. Sometimes it takes a little doing but fall is approaching and the evenings get longer. jeff
Thanks, might try that. Mine are pretty thin, and crimped into the metal itself. I would have to open up the metal part, then probably trim the new rubber down in order to fit. Then somehow re-crimp the metal part.Jeff
