Guest srsmithtr5
Does anybody have any ideas what car this is?
dan at larescorp
It almost looks like a 1906 Cadillac model M with the headlights and grille missing. I'm probably wrong, but that's what comes to mind with that hood.
nzcarnerd
Definitely not a Cadillac. The radiator looks odd, a mix of honeycomb and gilled tube. The tube front axle is very light. No idea what it is yet.
dan at larescorp
You're right. Looking at it more closely I think it might be a 1906 REO. It is still missing the front cover.
Layden B
I think the mystery car is a 1903 Model A Ford with a false front. Same steering wheel & spider, same control lever inside the seat. Same lever on the steering column. Same radiator. Same fenders and fender irons. Same front axle. They did this kind of modification a lot with Model A Cadillacs. Guest SirShiftsalot
You're right. Looking at it more closely I think it might be a 1906 REO. It is still missing the front cover.I think you've got it with the REO, everything looks to be the same except for the front cover being gone, but given everything else, I think we've got our car here.. sambarn
except for the radiator sticking out from the bottom of the frent. that's not aftermarket. I agree more with ford model a.

Larry Schramm
My guess would be for a Cadillac about 1905
