help needed - Taillight wiring issue

Recommended Posts

because i bought the car partial in parts, i find new questions for me every day :)

yesterday i test fit the taillight houses. all no problem and done...

but my taillight wires were cut at the ends, so i dont know how the ends/connectors look like and fit into the lamp holders (brakelight/taillight/signal and back-up-light).

does anyone have a picture of these wire connectors to the taillight houses and/or maybe know where to buy?

From what I remember, this will probably work: http://www.classicchevy.com/chevy-taillight-or-parking-light-double-contact-plug-with-wiring-1955-1957.html ...push and twist to install, like the bulb on the other end.

If not use a universal socket (you will have to destroy and remove the original socket).

There are some on a parts car, but it is too hot to think about it.

@paul

thanks, dont need a harness, only the connectors, but i will try also their what they have.

@old-tank

ohhh that looks good, seems to be the right part. thanks...

universal sockets would my last choice, i dont want to destroy the original parts if it goes the right way.
