jpage Posted August 20, 2014 Share Posted August 20, 2014 If the '36 truck hoods are similar to the cars they should have a steel support bracket riveted to the center hood hinge flange about 6 in. from the rear on both sides. This bracket is tapered and had 2 rubber bumpers at the end that supports the hood side when it's folded open. The tops just rest on each other when open. I don't know about the later trucks.
