1928 stutz radiator cap with mascot

have posted this before but with limited computer skills will try to repost and add photos.

I have a radiatorcap and mascot for a 1928 stutz to the best of my knowledge.I'm asking $600 it.It is in very good condition I purchased at auction where they sold the cap seperate from the car and car went too high so all I have is the cap.I have since started a different car and do not need this cap.

I also would like info as how to identify the difference from a real cap and a fake.A number of the buyers at the auction who were stutz collectors said it was original,but I would like some professional

opinion.Don't want to try to sell a fake or have someone buy as a fake when it is really original,kind of affects what I sell it for.Thanks for your help.I will try now to post some pics,wish me luck
