Matt Harwood
I am in dire need of one good condition or restored 1948 Lincoln Continental hubcap. It's the kind that looks like a chrome bowl with gold anodized "Lincoln" script on it. One of our cars lost one on a test drive and a fellow motorist ran it over and destroyed it. If anyone has a spare or knows where to find one, please let me know. Matt@HarwoodMotors.com216-849-5263Thank you!
Matt Harwood
Got one and the car is now whole again. Just showed up this morning and the first thing I did was get it back together. They lost a front one and I didn't realize that the front and rear hubcaps are different. Front hubcaps have the "Lincoln" script, while the rears are plain since they live behind the fender skirts. Since the car lost a front one, they moved the rear one to the front to make it less noticeable. Everything is back where it belongs now. Thanks!PS: Yes, the car is available. Contact me for details, since it isn't appropriate for this forum, but it's extremely interesting...
