Guest gmorse
Can anyone tell me the correct length for a valve pushrod in a '39 248? Over the years, I have seen wrong length pushrods in several engines. Were all the 248 engines (non-hydraulic lifter) the same? Before I pull my '39 apart, I would like to where I might buy new rods if needed. Thanks for all your help.Gary
pont35cpe
Gary, The length of push-rods for my `36 233 are 12 3/8" long, the 248 may be the same, maybe someone will confirm... Are you referring to rods(crankshaft to pistons?) I have a `41 super 248 I just rebuilt.. I bought a set of rods, which were machined for inserts, from Terrill Machine De Leon, Texas $40 each exchange Feltz Terrill 254 893 2610 Tom
