airbrushguy
I'm getting extremely frustrated at putting my interior door handle on the rear door without popping off each time the door is closed.Cleaned the post, the inside of the handle, bought new clips......still pops off!Seems to push all the way in and clip seems to grab, but no. I have the handles with the burgundy plastic inserts so hitting the handle with a rubber hammer could be disastrous.Has anyone had this problem and know the trick to it? egor
I had the same problem with my '38. I replaced the door panels, they were thicker than the original, handles wouldn't stay on. The extra bit of spring tension caused the handles to pop off. I had to remove the springs behind the handles.
airbrushguy
The door panels are newly upholstered. There are no springs behind the handles. Any other suggestions?
