pint4
Would anyone know if the Buick Historical Archives has parts drawings? I am looking for a drawing for the 1933 Buick Series 60 3 pc. exhaust manifold-both the casting drawing and the finished part drawing. I have heard there is an extensive amount of old information in an archived library in Flint. Can anyone help me? Thanks, Bob Feel free to email me at pint4@new.rr.com. If not available, I may have to resort to making a 3-D copy from someone existing manifold. Would be easier if could go the drawing route.
midman
Pint,Sorry I don't have a drawing for your 33 but I do for my 31 and I need a new manifold. Do you know of someone who can cast a new one using the drawing? As far as the archives, contact them and the AACA library, they very well might be able to help you. I am going to donate my 31 drawings after I go through them and I've been in contact with both libraries. They are very helpful and will be able to tell you what they have. Larry Schramm
You might just call Kettering University (Formerly General Motors Institute) in Flint. http://www.kettering.edu/ They used to have lots of Buick drawings.
