Guest Ernie North
I am working on a 1935 Buick Series 40 with a straight 8 233 CI engine. Can someone please tell me the correct paint colors for the valve covers (also flat, semi or gloss), side cover, cylinder head, and block?
Chrysler300XMan
Based on my father's Model 47, which he has owned since 1967, the color of the valve cover should be 60% semi-gloss black, the cylinder head, side cover and block should all be painted early Buick Green, which is available from Bill Hirsch in quart cans.
