Guys and Gals,

I was told by one of you, or found in and earlier post, that Tom van Meeteren is the guy to contact for brushes and electrical parts. I have an address:

If not, can you help me find brushes for my starter/generator?

The starter guy who just KNEW he could rebuild it....can't. I knew it wouldn't be easy when he first saw it and said, "I've never seen anything like that!"

My poor car is standing around with his drawers down and is very embarrassed.

i dont remember his name buy if you search for those items in fla.i hope you can find him. i got brushes from him and he does rebuilds also. the brushes i got were for my 63 GP starter.

Van Meeteren is the one to go to for this stuff. Not long ago I built up a starter/generator for a 1922 Buick and he had the brushes, also the distributor points, all NOS. Expensive, and worth every penny. I am at the BCA meet in Portland right now, but if you can't get the contact info I will get it to you when I get home.
