I think the big one with the big button in the center is for about a 1931 Buick. See photo. I think the one with the long tangs is for about a 1928 Plymouth. I believe the one with the pinhole is a gas cap.

keiser31 ................

Thank you. That sure does look like the one on that 1931 Buick.

I think that you are also right about the gas cap. It even has a knurled edge. That's the back side, below it.

It's getting late here and my eyes are getting crossed.

Thank you, so much, again. You sure have a great knowledge of antique car parts !

28 Chrysler ........................

Thank you for your reply.

The overall depth is about 3 1/2" and the width of the disk is about 2 1/8".

Thank you,

Special thanks to Mike Burch. I purchased the Crank hole cover jpg1 from him and it just arrived. Beautiful, just like the one I lost in 1960. I found one several years ago that was made of some kind of tin and plated (all rusty and not replatable the platers said). This one is stainless just like my original. Obviously GM sourdec parts from different suppliers. Thanks Mike.

Tinindian ....................

Thank you for the compliment ! It makes me feel good, that I helped you find something, that you had been hunting for, since 1960 ! Maybe, you can solder a safty wire to this one, in case it comes loose again.

Perhaps, the tin one was a replacement part, at the dealership.

I'm glad that you are happy with your purchase !

Thanks,

mikeburch
