The article I read years ago was in a 70s? TWOTZ
John Murphy
Jeff, look back to the year 1986. Old faithful Tom Lerch did an article on the vibration damper. See Volume 19 issue #1 the February-March issue. Pages 6 and 17. Go for it Me. Bwatoe. There also was a short article in Volume 7, issue #3 by Roy Tucker. 1941
The vibration damper on my original engine had large "chunks" carved out of it that I found when I had to replace the block . NOT wear , but you could see where someone had used a chisel to it. When I replaced the block and rebuilt itI used a N.O.S dampener.
