Guest Kitskaboodle
I was talking to Walter this morning ( in front of his car ) and I noticed that whenever he opened his door , the IPC would display the mileage and stay on for a minute. I noticed this immediately and asked him why his car does this. My car has never , ever done this despite changing the IPC twice over the years. My IPC is fully working with no issues at all. So, why does mine not do the same? Walt suggested that maybe my BCM has an older rev PROM. Your thoughts on this? Does your display the mileage when you open your car door? Thanks, Kit Edited July 14, 2014 by Kitskaboodle Grammer (see edit history)

Guest Mc_Reatta
Problem with a door switch circuit. Could be switch or splice under seat. Test switches here to see which isn't working correctly:http://reattaowner.com/roj/component/content/article/59-lighting-system/interior-lights/193-door-switch-troubleshooting-guide
