Guest 31vicky
I need help to ID this lens. I have a lot of old glass molds and have a few of these made to see what it is. The color may not be right because this is the color the glass shop was in. I did not care about color, I just needed a sample. This may be a clearance light, tail light or fender light for a motorcycle. I have no idea. There is a design inside the lens but I am still at a lost. I know someone out there may have an idea. Help me if you can.Thank you
Fleek
First thought was a 46-48 Buick taillight, but they had a round chrome ring around the big end.
Guest mikeburch
31Vicky ........................I think it is for a running or clearance light. I have these art deco similar looking running lights.Indian Motorcycles had a similar front fender light, but it had an Indian molded into the face. I think that Harley had something similar, too.mikeburchCLICK ON PHOTO TO ENLARGE
Guest 31vicky
Thanks for the replies. I was thinking fender or clearance light but I have never seen on that is all glass. There is a distinct ridge on it that looks like some kind of bezel would mount on it but like I said before I have never seen one that the whole thing is glass. Thanks for your help. If anyone else has any ideas or pictures, please post them. Jon
