Joe Cocuzza Posted July 5, 2014 Share Posted July 5, 2014 Old drums can be turned unless they have been turned too many times. Then the thickness of the drum becomes the issue. Turning them too much will make them too thin and at that point they become dangerous. Most shops have a chart that tells them the minimum thickness a drum can be.
