KYB Shocks

Hi Bob,

I just put Excel-G shocks on my car and I am pleased with the results. The main difference between the two is that the Gas-adjust give a firmer, more modern type ride while the Excel-G are more like the ride when the car left the factory. Having said that, I find the ride firmer than before, but not too firm. Plus that, I got a $40 rebate from Rockauto meaning the shocks only cost me $46. Not a bad deal for a much more pleasant ride.

Regards,

Lew

Bob,

I'm glad to help. I've learned a little over the past 18 years of ownership. My car is and probably always will be a work in progress, but that is what the hobby is about. When I got my car it wouldn't go over 55 mph, the wipers didn't work, the upholstery was shot, among other things. I have enjoyed being able to work on my car and I hope you get a lot of enjoyment out of yours.

Regards,

Lew
