I came across this dodge coupe with the emblem & grill surround. It really looks like it might fit may 1938 dodge pickup, if anything it looks a little longer. He said he would sell the emblem & the surround for $200 I really think I cant go wrong for that price. Any thought that it will fit? even if I have to modify it & get it re-chromed. Thanks

That is a 37 Dodge car-nothing on the front end will work-maybe the wings. Car and truck fenders are different. 36-37-38 front and rear truck fenders are the same for the 1/2 ton. First two pictures is a 37 car. Rest of pictures 36-37 truck. Hope this helps.

Thanks! Having just bought a 1938 pickup, I've been looking for a few parts (especially fenders) to help get her restored as a driver.

A few months ago, I decided I needed a pickup truck to occasionally haul stuff too big to fit in a car. Didn't want a new one and while 80's models were relatively cheap, just wanted something different. So with the help of the Internet, I spent weeks looked at Fords, Chevys, Mercurys, Internationals, and Studebakers from 1936 thru 1954. I really liked the 1941 Ford 3/4 and 1 ton models with the flat-head V-8, but couldn't find one in decent shape at a good price. Then I ran across this 38 Dodge and after looking into the history of the Dodge brothers and Ford, just decided to go ahead and buy it.post-102766-143142703881_thumb.png
