SharonOran
This photo was taken in 1920 according to the TN License plate. What is the make and model of this vehicle? Is it a car or truck? What is that compartment on the back with a barrel sticking out? I am guessing it is the gas tank but not sure. Is it standard equipment or some type of modification?Thank you. hwellens
Looks like a standard Model T roaster (about 1922)
dictator27
Model T turtledeck roadster. The gas tank is under the seat. Don't know what that tank is - part of a still maybe? The young feller doesn't look too happy!Terry
Layden B
Yes 1919 to 1921 Model T Ford runabout ( that is what Ford called them), the compartment on the back is commonly called a turtle deck ( often removed by simply unbolting and replaced with a pickup box), the gasoline tank is under the front seat. Missing the tail lamp which would have been bolted to a bracket on the 2 bolt holes to the left of the license plate.
