1953 Chevy 3100 5-window pickup $6,000 obo

This little truck was originally born in Michigan where it sat in a barn for nearly 20 years until the owner purchased it, sight unseen, at a flea market. He kept it for 10 years and got it running and driving with plans to do a full restoration. The family ended up moving from Michigan to Kyle, TX and he took the '53 with him and it has been sitting in the pasture behind his ranch house for about 9 months. I know what your thinking, that it being from the North that it is probably a rust bucket, but you would be surprised as the this old Chevy is as solid as a rock! It has the original 235 straight six that is running and drive-able condition, a 4 speed on the floor, the only thing the does need replacing is the bed floor. This truck belongs to an owner who doesn't have much time, and this truck was suppose to be a restoration project for his wife that will sadly will never get done so he is looking to sell to someone who is willing to bring this truck up and make her new again in whatever vision the new owner see fit. Along with the truck, the owner is throwing in a box full of parts from LMC including parts like: trim, all interior weather stripping, chrome emblems, chrome grille, chrome door mirrors, and other small detail pieces. The truck is in Kyle, TX and he is asking $6,000 OBO. the owner is more than willing to show the truck to anyone interested.
