reatta vice
I posted this car in the Buick Buy / Sell Section of the forum earlier today but someone suggested to also put it in the General Buy / Sell Forum in case someone might not be looking specifically for a Buick but wants a real nice 30's era car.My mechanic & good friend who services my collector cars & owns a restoration shop in South Georgia, asked me to post this car for sale for him. He is what I call "Computer Challenged".He recently purchased this car in West Virginia. It had been in a private collection & not been driven for quite sometime. I'm guessing it was probably restored sometime in the '70's by a restoration shop in Indiana. Exterior paint is finished in a 2-tone Green with light yellow body pin stripes complemented by a gray fabric interior. We think the car has been driven a little over 200 miles since 1979 according to an oil change sticker in the door jam. He brought the car down last month to his shop, changed oil, replaced water pump, fan belt, battery, spark plugs & wires, & added a brand new set of Firestone Wide White Wall tires to replace the dry rotted tires. Car runs & drives excellent. It is equipped with an 8 cylinder inline overhead valve engine that most likely has been rebuilt over the years because it runs so good. It has some rare options & accessories including twin side mount spares with covers, dual horns, wolf whistle, chrome vent hood louvers, twin tail lights, hood ornament, artillery wheels, Waltham clock mounted in glove box door, rear seat pull down window shades & passenger foot rest, a factory Buick radio & rear luggage trunk. Body is straight & solid, paint looks good for being 40 + years old, doors do not sag, glass is in mint condition, chrome is real nice, interior still presents well. Undercarriage is just as clean as exterior. All the instruments are functioning properly. The chrome strip that runs down the center of the hood sides is damaged but he has sourced another one that will soon be installed. Overall a nice condition #3 car ready to be shown in preservation class in AACA.I have enclosed several photos. If interested please call Stuart @ 912-634-4949. I can send you many more photos. The car is priced very reasonable @ just $22,900. I have researched all the '33 Buicks for sale I could find on the Internet & this one really has the lowest price for the overall condition it is in. The 2-tone light green / dark green color with soft yellow pin stripes really makes the car pop.
