Back to work after Memorial Day......

Recommended Posts

...a thought occurred to me.

Back in the day of my newsletter editor duties, I used to send a newsletter each month to a friend of mine from New York who was in Afgantistan. (SIC)

You know editors, it doesn't take much to share a little of our hobby and activities back in the states while our heros are overseas. Ask around, you can certainly find a soldier to share your newsletters with.

Check out the video below to understand what they appreciate!

Excellent idea, Wayne! And going even further,

offer soldiers A.A.C.A. memberships so they can

receive the national magazine.

I wouldn't call every enlisted man a "hero," however.

Though every dedicated serviceman's work is appreciated,

save that praiseworthy term for those few who have gone

FAR beyond the call of duty. "Hero" will mean something then

and not be diluted. Medal of Honor winners, for example.
