Ric Dean
I.D. needed on Dashboard & LH Door Antique or Classic 1920s? … Please! Identification needed for a Dash Board.… I just found the Door for this Car, I had forgotten where it was. I will add some Photos of it. Hopefully this Door will help identify the Dashboard.… The Dash Board is from an Antique or Classic Automobile dating I think from somewhere in the 1920s? Total length is 42.5’’ sides are 7’’ and mid-section is 8’’ high, total weight is 25 lbs. It has the original wood grain and one instrument Bezel... I like old Dash Boards and instruments and found this one in the Nevada Desert back in the 1950s; all the instruments were already gone but the size and quality intrigued me; take a look at the back of it. The one oblong Instrument Bezel was still in place and the Lens on the exposed portion would have been 4 5/8’’ tall. ... Do you think this size Gauge (4 5/8’’) would have been from a large Car? Thank you, Ric Edited August 31, 2014 by Ric Dean added more info (see edit history)

Dave Mellor NJ
The two moldings on the door resemble 27-28 Chevy. The dash is similar to a 27 but not exact. Perhaps it's another GM from that era. This is the remains of a 27 sedan offered in the Buy and Sell.
Ric Dean
Dave… Thanks for your input on this Dash Board; I think you have something there. I have been searching Large GM Car sites for the late 20s my Door defiantly looks like a 1926 Cadillac but not the Dash. Haven’t found anything yet but photos of Dash’s and Instrument Clusters are hard to come by.Thanks again, Ric
