Curti
A good friend of mine does research on very old Wisconsin license plates. He is trying to connect a plate to this car. Any ideas ?
Rrdoubleday
Not sure, but maybe an Everitt.
Curti
I looked up Everitt in the standard catalog. They were only produced in 1910-1912. It appears that the cowl / windshield is different.
Guest prs519
Were the rear fenders terminated on the rear with the extension design features which parallels the ground, I would make a guess at Herreshoff. Nor do the horse-drawn vehicles appear to be like anything I have seen in western movies; I think it may be foreign, one of the ex-axis partners, maybe??? dictator27
Can anyone identify the building in the background? Looks distinctly European.Terry
Curti
The pix was taken at Dearborn Street station in Chicago. Taken B/4 1911 judged by the leather Illinois plate.
Curti
Here is another pix of the same car. The Wisconsin Historical Society believes it is an International Harvester. I looked it up in the Standard Catalog of American Cars, however is doesn't look like any IHC in the book.Maybe one of the experts here can help...............
