1990 Silver Reatta Coupe - Central North Carolina (Raleigh Area)

Reatta Enthusiast needing to make room for a family.

I was gifted my 1990 silver Reatta coupe from my grandfather, and have put considerable time and energy into reconditioning it to its original glory. I love this car, and enjoy the time I have spent working on it. Unfortunately, with a toddler and another on the way, I’m realizing how impractical it is to keep a 2 seater in my garage. I wish I didn’t have to part with my Reatta, but I need to make room (both physically and financially) for a more practical family car. I hope that my Reatta will go to someone who enjoys this unique vehicle as much as I do.

In the year and a half since I’ve owned my Reatta, I have completed the following work. The engine and interior work was sourced out to trusted vendors, while the smaller fixes I took on myself.

Full Engine tune up (all new belts, hoses, wear parts)

Suspension tightened / tune up

Brake system flush

Transmission Flush

AC Converted to R134 and leaky compressor replaced

Replaced headliner

Re-stuffed both seats with new padding (kept original leather everywhere)

Replaced front and rear paper cone speakers with fabric cone set (matched size and impedance)

Replaced headlight lift arms & bushings (Thanks Barney Eaton!)

New headlights

Replaced turn signal flasher

Replaced horn cam in steering column

Replaced horn buttons in steering wheel

Replaced oil level float sensor

Polished rear tail light assembly

Replaced broken socket in tail light assembly
