Guest falcon1706 Posted May 14, 2014 Share Posted May 14, 2014 My Crown Coupe has vents in the rear shelf similar to the AC vents on the top of the dash. A rear AC unit was placed in the trunk and connected to these vents prior to purchase (apparently to sell the car). The AC unit has no refrigerant lines and there is no evidence of there ever being lines from the underhood portion to the rear. Could the car have simply had the rear defroster unit originally with those "center" moveable vents in the shelf? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
