bob duffer
My spare tire stone guard got crunched..Do you all think this can be saved or is it junk?Would a bump shop be able to fix this?
1957Birdman
Hi Bob,I think by the time you attempt to fix it or pay someone else to fix it you would be better off buying a new one since they are available for $183 from CASCO. Unless the person is really good at fiberglass repair it won't look as good as new, IMHO.Good luck,
bob duffer
Lew, This is an original steel one. that is why i was considering fixing it. Or i could just but the fiberglass one.
1957Birdman
Bob,I didn't realize this piece was originally metal. I guess I would price how much it would cost to fix it and make my decision accordingly. Either way it will have to be painted. Even if you go with the fiberglass I would keep the old one just in case.Regards,Lew
