1967 ford LTD four door hardtop, loaded garage find.

i just found this 1967 ford LTD four door hardtop not far from where i live, car was last driven nine years ago. the seller's husband got ill and couldn't finish the work he was doing on the car. white body with black vinyl top and black interior. the car has been kept in the garage untill just two weeks ago. the vinyl top and seats were restored nine years ago. this LTD had been in the seller's family since 1970. the car has the 315 horse thunderbird 390 V8 engine, C6 automatic transmission, power steering, power front disc brakes, power windows, factory air conditioning, automatic power door locks, power window locks, am radio, remote control driver's sideview mirror, 46,900 original miles, 50/50 split front bench seat with both sides have power six way seat adjusters, only three areas where the body needs some work, 1) small amount of rust bubbles behind left rear wheel, 2) small shallow dent at the rear end of the right rear fender, 3) left rear corner of the hood has been bent alittle. all the glass is good, when the seller's husband couldn't work on the car anymore, he was in the middle of several upgrades on the car, the distributor has a pertronic ignition set up inside, all the old plug wires had been removed, new ones are in the trunk, the original valve covers are in the trunk, along with new chrome valve covers, the rear tires don't hold air. according to the full size ford registry, over 55,000 1967 ford ltd four door hardtops were made, this car with the colors, trim,options, and accessories is one of only nine that were made. car is in taneyville, mo. about thirty minutes east of branson missouri. $2,500.00 charles coker, 417-693-5219post-32395-143142500328_thumb.jpg

Nice to see a 4-door hardtop of any make or model for sale.

"Rare" is an overused term, but these are much less common

than 2-doors and convertibles these days--and less expensive too!

Just as station wagons were forgotten and became scarce.

Does anyone else on this Forum appreciate 4-door hardtops?
