holes in floor

I have tons of these small holes all over the floor pans of my car when i pulled up

the carpet,Does anyone know why they are here or should i put a drop if silicone

on each one ,seems to me if i'm out when its raining it will come in and make the

carpet wet .

Hi Bob,

The only way I can account for the holes is that they were made by the drive nails that were used to attach the carpeting originally. The carpeting was installed at the dealership, not at the factory, and that was the way the dealership was instructed to do the installation. They may have been pulled out if the carpet in your car has been replaced. Plugging the holes with silicon or roofing cement should do the trick.
