another rear courtesy light question

The previous thread about the rear passenger compartment light got me thinking about mine for the 25-45. Haven't given it much thought for a lot of years, so I rummaged around in my "stuff" and found it. I knew that it needed plating and a new lens. Does anybody know what the lens looks like?? is it just frosted flat glass or is it concave with a pattern or frosted look?

garnetkid, mine is frosted with a slight dome, but I don,t know what holds the glass in place.

Out of my area, but I've seen these lenses being held in by a large snap ring, not just on Buick.

Also- I still have a very nice bumper for the 26-27 Buick, re-chromed years ago, ready to use. Colorado , if you're close. Just sits in my shop doing nothing.

Thanks Rod, now I know what to look for. They are held in with a thin wire type snap ring. Anybody out there with an extra lens??? Leon

This light currently for sale on e-bay appears to be the same basic light with an embossed pattern. Was this used on a Buick later than 1925, or was it from another make of car ?
