1991 Reatta coupe in excellent condition. Professionally painted white pearl about 4 years ago. Has 16 inch chrome Riveria wheels plus one extra Reatta wheel. Includes all factory paperwork with the signatures of everyone who worked on the car on the assembly line. 109K mi. Why don't people ever oil their leather?! It's sad to see such a beautiful car with upholstery in that condition.

The husband of the present owner is a body man and has had show cars all his life so I'm sure the damage was done before she got it in 1996. I was always told to clean leather seats with Woolite then follow-up with a leather treatment. What do you use?

The owners husband (now retired) worked at a body shop at a Ford dealership and a Riv came in that was totaled. He swapped the wheels before it went to the salvage yard. The original wheels had curb rash so they went with the Riv.

The owner does not use computers which is why I'm doing this for her. I personally have had bad experiences selling and cars on EvilBay. Some people have different definitions for words than I do, like the word restored and class 2. Seems a lot of people think class 4 cars are class 2 cars. I've heard that only 1 of 10 completed auctions actually get paid for. I have over 500 transactions on Ebay mostly for parts.

Neither do I. It is a very nice car, save for the seat damage (which can be repaired) and the mileage is not that high for the it's age. The custom color is a nice touch that is not easily found. Being a 91 also makes it preferable in some people's point of view. That this car has gone unsold for a lengthy period of time is dissapointing.

Of course, this forum is a challenging place to sell a car because most all the regulars who post and read here already own at least one, some own several. Thus, most who are seeing the ad here are not as likely to be buying unless they are looking to add to their collection. I would buy another had I the funds and space, but I am really beyond the point of being able to justify owning any more, already owning 4 Reattae and a total of six vehicles. I imagine many are in a similar situation.

At the current lowered asking price, it should be an easy sale. I paid well more than that for my white/red 91 coupe in 2008 and it needed a repaint and a lot of other work. It had 82,000 so the mileage was lower but not that much so. And, the perceived future value of the Reatta is arguably better now than it was seven years ago.

I hope this one ends up in the hands of an appreciative owner who will fix the seat and keep the car maintained. At under $4000 it runs the risk of being bought by someone just looking for an inexpensive daily driver. That would be a shame.
