Gary_Ash
I'm looking for a place to buy a pair of leaf spring bump stops like the one in the attached photo. They are on the front springs of a 1931 Studebaker Indy Car. I'm building a replica. The springs are 2" wide, the U bolts are 9/16" diameter spaced with their centers 2-3/4" apart, so the rubber bumper is about 2" wide x 2" long x 3" high, the steel plate about 4" long. Note that the metal plate the rubber is bonded to has the ends curled up a bit. I've Googled about every combination I could think of but I only get modern ones that aren't this shape or size. These must have been standard parts for many 1930s cars. Anyone recognize it? Who supplies these for antique/vintage cars? Steele Rubber doesn't list new ones; I didn't find any on the Dorman sites. Guest Commodore
This somewhat similar. See photo. It is off a 2008 Toyota Hilux H2 4x4 Double Cab Pickup.
