Beltfed
Went today to a hot rod shop where they are rat rodding a 1938 four door Zephyr. Why, I have no idea. The motor and tranny were pulled. The engine had iron heads on it so it's not a '38. The tranny had a chunk out of the top so you could see the clutch. Motor could be frozen, no way to check. The intake was a four bolt carb mount type and they had a three bolt carb mounted to it. All the parts look to still be on the engine or laying close by with other stuff. Columbia was still under the car as it's still a roller. Care to give me an idea as to what I might offer as I'm looking for spare parts for my engine. Guest 65Starfire
Well first offer to haul it off for scrap weight - all they can say is no and I have found that a lot of these guys are interested in horse power so the old stuff is just junk to them! Otherwise, I'd start at 3-400 bucks assuming its toast.
