Here is a single-cylinder Orient engine with its aluminum friction-drive disc. Orient was a predecessor to the Metz company. I think this would have been used on a buckboard-type car, circa 1903 or so. I took the photos recently at a visit to an engine collector. Metz adopted the Orient and Waltham designs for his own cars.

I am looking for a hand crank for a 4 HP Orient engine like this or a drawing of one so that I could fabricate one.

Also, an original Longuemare carburetor or source for one and any specs or service information.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
