1964-1968 How does top boot attach to rear seat? Velcro or slider? Electra LeSabre Wildcat

I'm trying to identify some convertible top information, and I am specifically interested in how the convertible top boot attaches to the rear of the back seat - with either velcro or a slide-in bar. I am specifically interested in 1964-1968 B and C bodies - Electra, LeSabre, Wildcat (or even other GM B and C). If you have a 1964-1968, how does your boot attach to the rear of the back seat - with a slide-in bar, or velcro? I'm pretty sure 1964s had a slide-in bar, but I don't know about other years. Let me know the year and model. Thanks.

I believe my '68 LeSabre is a slider bar.

When I was researching convertible stuff a while back (years, that is), I discovered there were only two large GM car tops. The "large" ones were on the Cadillac DeVille, Olds 98, and Buick Electra 225s. The "other" one was on the Chevy Impalas, Pontiacs, Olds 88, and Buick LeSabre (and most probably Wildcats, too).

I also discovered that the body mount rubbers had the same casting/part number as those for a same-year Impala convertible. Similar situations might well exist with top weatherstrips, too.

Just some thoughts,

My 65 Electra has a slide in bar. I replaced my top 2 years ago and was very fortunate that I had saved the original steel strap that has the lip or channel for the slide in on the boot. Not all boots have the same number of snaps. I think the full size Buicks had either 25 or 27 snaps. I could be off on the number but there are differences.
