Guest 22Coupe
Hi, I am looking for the cubic inches of a 1922 Buick 4 cylinder engine. I am not sure, but I think it's 171 cu. in. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks,Gary
ply33
If I am reading the Standard Catalog of American Cars correctly, it would be 170 cu. in. displacement (3-3/8 x 4-3/4) with a BHP rating of 35 to 40.
Leif Holmberg
Yes you are right,1922-1924 4 cyl.all the same around 171cu.in. Diameter bore 3.375" Stroke 4.75" ,(bore radie x radie x 3.14) r x r x 3.14 = area 8,94 x stroke 4,75" = 42.465 cu.in/1cyl. x 4 cyl. = 169.86 cu.in.Leif in Sweden.
