Guest tardisi
Hi all- I'm a former Chevy-only guy who's looking to 'expand his horizons' somewhat.I'm learning all I can about the other GM brands, and I'mintrigued/fascinated by all the unique engines that weremade by the other divisions. I'm aware that BOP engines can't be dropped directly intoChevy bodies or vice-versa (engine mount differences I'vebeen told), but do the BOP engines interchange easily?IE: can I easily drop an Olds engine into a Pontiac orvice-versa?CJ Wilsonjwilson@unctv.org
avgwarhawk
I believe all have their own unique mounts. Each had their own unique engine. Not like today were they all share the same bits and pieces. Also, for the Buick, depending on year, there is the torque tube that has a much different set up then the open drive shaft. But, people with the proper tools and know how mix and match to good effect.
