Realsteeljack
This head we had for quite some time now is another one that we cannot identify .The only markings are a large M and the firing order by each sparkplug hole .Hopefully one of you has an idea what it is fromThank you
dictator27
Does the large hole on the right side of the head access the water jacket or does it go right through? Distributor mounting hole, maybe? Like the 6 cylinder engine being asked about, the water outlet is offset. V8 head maybe? Dunno.... 'Tis a mystery to me.Terry

Layden B
Many early US cars had metric thread spark plugs. I was asking about distances between head bolt holes, sizes of drilled holes and thickness of the head, etc. All will give a clue whether the original drawing layout was done in inch measurements or metric and thus if this is European or British/American.
