Brush parts at Chickasha

Chickasha was smaller this year even though they said they had sold more booth spaces than ever. I guess some folks didn't show due to weather issues elsewhere.

There were almost no Brush parts. One set of coil springs that the seller wanted $600 for. And Gordon Carlson found a brass Brush radiator nameplate which I was able to buy.

Most of the stuff was all Model T and some Model A.

It is getting harder and harder to find parts. Several projects I know of are stalled looking for things. I know that there are some guys who are sitting on stuff out there planning on doing one more. I think as a club we will need to make a group effort to have some of the parts everybody is looking for reproduced.

Guy, thanks for the comment

I heard the same comments from a couple of early Model T collectors from the Twin Cities. They said the meet was super if you are into T's, but the early brass cars and parts were not there like in the past. Some people just can't afford to attend two or three big meets. I guess Hershey is still the best bet for early brass stuff.

Thanks again.
