Guest cardinal905
Tried and tried to take apart my 1916 Maxwell wheels last nite, cant get the hubs to separate. Anyone have tips or know how to separate these ? The bearing races are pressed in I assume, don't know how to proceed. Mike.
MochetVelo
Can you post pictures? I had luck bringing my Peugeot wheels to an experienced mechanic. He stared at them for a while and figured out how they came apart. It turned out to be a press fit.Phil

Guest cardinal905
Got them apart, heated the opposite side flange from the picture---it expanded enough to pry it off, then cut 4 spokes and it was easy from there.
