I am putting my 11-A Franklin back together - should have it running soon. On the firewall is mounted a "Luburetor". It has not been connected since I have had the car, but is all original and all there. Were these commonly in stalled on Franklins? Why?

I think it's for upper cylinder lubrication using something like Marvel Mystery Oil, but a photograph would allow better identification.
