unknown flathead 6

here I have a flathead 6

I can not find it on the web

the engine number is DD 2 6372 (the 2 is undelined)

someone has written dodge on it but I am not sure it is

who knows what it is

Length of the block would be a good number to give.

It looks like it might be a 1930 through 1934 or so Chrysler product to me but there are probably many other manufacturers with similar looking blocks. One of the 1930 model Dodges had an engineering code of DD with a 6 cylinder engine and that is typically the engine number prefix for Chrysler built vehicles of that era.

I the head for it must be 25 inch long

Ply33 is correct...it is a 1930 Dodge Brothers DD6 engine.

The DD6 did carry over into 1931, but the 1931 DH6 was the main model for 1931 and was different than the DD6.
