What do these mechanisms fit??

I have two mystery parts. The first is an NOS latch mechanism...I'm guessing for perhaps a vehicle with a side opening hood. But that's just a SWAG.

The second item is a windshield wiper motor mount and transmission assembly. Looks foreign, maybe Mercedes?

If you know what they fit, they're yours for $5 apiece, plus shipping. I just want them in the hands of someone who will use them!
