Anyone happen to know about oil trough dipper guages?

Hello again - would anyone have any info (specifically dimensions) of a oil trough dipper guage for the 216.5 engine? Would like to make one myself...thanks.

I think the Filling Station RENTS one. The deposit is pretty steep to insure they will get it back.

Someone on the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America (VCCA) forum may be able to help with the dimensions for a oil trough dipper gauge.

As I recall this information was published in the Generator and Distributor (VCCA's monthly magazine) years ago, but since I have every issue beginning back in 1961 or 62 there are to many issues for me to go through to find it.
