keiser31
This is a fabric covered Motorola Model 501 radio that a friend has and he is wondering what vehicle it is from. Anyone know? I remember kicking one while in the front seat of a car when I was very small, but I cannot remember what kind of car it was in. Thanks in advance. Bleach
Maybe you can find it here?https://sites.google.com/site/identifyinginstrumentpanels/home/radio-model-codes-index/radio-model-codes-page-
keiser31
Thank you for that, but it's all Greek to me. I don't see a Model 501.....unless I am totally missing something.

I'm thinking it might just be an aftermarket radio that could have been installed in any period automobile. I found other examples on the internet and none were specific to any one make or model. Fleek
I think it is aftermarket also. One clue is the numbers on the dial seem to run up and down, so this might narrow down the application. 49-50 chevy comes to mind.
