SOLD SOLD SOLD

1933 Buick Series 60 Rumble Seat Coupe. This is an extremely nice example of a very rare Buick. The 1933 Series 60s were powered by Buick's overhead valve, 272.6 cid/97 horsepower, eight cylinder engine which was installed in the 127" wheelbase chassis. This body style is the 66S Sport Coupe with rumble seat. Only about 1,000 of this body style were built in 1933,a small amount when compared to nearly 7,500 sedans and 2,900 victoria coupes. Very few have survived today. This is largely original car that appears to have been repainted once. This car is rock solid inside and out, top to bottom. The doors open and close like bank vault doors and the hood fits the radiator and cowl with super nice alignment. The interior appears to be original and while showing some expected wear is extremely nice and well preserved. The door panels, headliner, and even the original visors are in very good, original condition. I think the interior is far too nice to even consider replacing. The dashboard is excellent with clean gauges. The chrome is extremely nice. The paint, while older, presents and shows well. Mechanically, the car runs great. It starts easily either hot or cold, runs quietly, shifts with ease and steers lightly. The brakes and fuel system have been recently gone through and the car has proven to be a pleasure to drive. The front shocks seem a little weak and could likely benefit from a rebuild, other than that, the car handles great. It has been fitted with an overdrive transmission which helps to propel it down the road and modern speeds while reducing wear and tear on the engine. It is extremely well optioned with period and factory accessories including dual side-mounted spares with metal covers and mirrors, a rear luggage rack, bumper guards, heater, radio and steel artillery wheels with white wall tires. This car will make a great tour car and certainly will stand out at any show. It is really a sexy body style that looks great from every angle. A great opportunity to purchase a desirable and scarce Buick coupe. The price is 38,500.00 and the car is located near Detroit, MI. The original 1936 Mullins Red Cap trailer shown in the photos can be purchased separately for 6,500.00.
