Hey everyone, I am looking for any possible leads on parts, gaskets and any additional information for 1932 GMC T-19 Truck with the Pontiac Split Head Six Engine.. My friend and I are working on this truck for a customer and we are in need of parts. This truck was offered with a Pontiac Split Head Six Cylinder Engine. These trucks are pretty rare and we are having a tough time finding really anything about these trucks. If any of you Fellow Pontiac Owners know of any parts, gaskets or any other information, please let me know. You can directly email me at dtalbott13@gmail.com. Thanks again.

Drew Talbott.

Everything that you need can be bought from EGGE. I was totally amazed at their complete overhaul gasket set. It had every gasket right down to the one under the dist. I just finished overhauling my engine and the only parts that were not from them were the parts that I had babited parts (rods and mains).

Oh really? EGGE has those parts? Thats great to hear! Thanks for the lead on parts. I was having trouble finding those parts because the truck is so rare, yet it has the Pontiac Splithead Six engine in it. I will make sure to look online there and get the parts we need. Thanks again!

If you call EGGE Jim is the guy to talk to about vintage stuff. The one change that I made was to use flathead Chrysler adjusters on the tappets. It is easier to use two wrenches and a feeler gauge than three wrenches and a feeler gauge. This was the second overhaul. Back in the 70's I did my engine at about 180,000 miles (all EGGE parts) and that overhaul lasted 319,000 miles. I think this is my last overhaul for my daily driver of 55 years.

The Chrysler adjuster is just one piece. The threads are distorted so that it locks in place wherever you turn it. You just unscrew the Pontiac one with the lock nut and screw the other one in its place. Perfect fit.

That sounds great, do you know what year/model Chrysler? Or maybe have an Egge part number?

Cheers
