The block casting number is 3731548. The heads have casting number 3740997. The ID number is FI23E. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Bob 510 449-2350 Fremont CA. JFranklin Posted July 6, 2014 Share Posted July 6, 2014 (edited) If that engine has a 327 375 HP manifold, Rochester carb and hi-output oil pump it might be one I once owned. It was a dual 4 barrel Corvette 305 (I believe) hp originally. After the mods including blueprinting and clearancing, it dyno tested at 335 HP. Raced it in 1969 or there about, at Lions drag strip in California in a 57 Chevy 210 2 door. It was a long time ago.
