Stutz head

I just purchased an American Austin about 1934-35 engine with an aluminum head marked Stutz Mfg and a parts number. The water inlet is also aluminum and marked Stutz mfg. Is this the same Stutz? The Austin/Bantam people are not aware of anyone manufacturing aluminum heads for an Austin. It also appears to have a machined aluminum adapter on the crankcase pulley possibly for a clutch driven supercharger. I would appreciate any leads.

Did Stutz typically put Stutz Mfg. and a parts number on their cast aluminum parts? Did they machine parts for other companies?
